How to Set Up the Main Menu?

The main menu is the menu at the top of a website. You can add various links to the main menu.

You have to manually add pages to the main menu for people to find them.

Create a New Menu and Assign It as the Main Menu

  1. Log In to the Dashboard.
  2. Click “Appearance” on the left.
  3. Click “Menus” under “Appearance”.
  4. Click “create a new menu”.
  5. Give the new menu a name.
  6. Add menu items to the new menu.
  7. Drag and drop to reorder the menu items.
  8. Scroll down to the “Menu Settings” section.
  9. Select “Main Menu” to the right of “Display location”.
  10. Click “Create Menu” to save the new menu.
